Product Use & Safety

USE & SAFETY

We want our products to be enjoyed safely and appropriately as part of your everyday living space.

Because our collection includes products with different materials, designs, functions, and intended uses, the appropriate way to use each item may vary. Please review the product information and any instructions or safety guidance provided with your product before use.

The following general guidance is intended to help you use and enjoy our products safely.

01

Intended Use

Please use each product only for its intended purpose and in accordance with any product-specific instructions provided.

Before using a product, review its description, materials, dimensions, features, and any applicable warnings or instructions.

Do not modify, disassemble, or use a product in a manner for which it was not designed.

If product-specific instructions differ from the general guidance on this page, please follow the instructions provided with the product.

02

Placement & Stability

Place products on stable, level, and suitable surfaces whenever applicable.

Decorative objects, lamps, vases, trays, and similar items should be positioned where they are unlikely to be knocked over, pulled down, or accidentally damaged.

Avoid placing fragile or unstable items near the edges of tables, shelves, countertops, or other elevated surfaces.

Before use, make sure the product is positioned securely and does not present an avoidable tipping, falling, or obstruction hazard.

03

Lighting & Electrical Products

For lamps, lighting products, or other items containing electrical components, always follow the instructions supplied with the product.

Use only compatible power sources, charging equipment, bulbs, batteries, or accessories where applicable.

Keep electrical components away from water, excessive moisture, and other conditions that may damage the product unless the product is specifically designed for such environments.

Do not use an electrical product if the cord, plug, charging component, battery compartment, or other electrical part appears damaged.

Disconnect or switch off electrical products when appropriate before cleaning, moving, or inspecting them.

04

Candles, Heat & Open Flames

Use extra care whenever a product is used with or positioned near candles, open flames, or other sources of heat.

Never leave a burning candle or open flame unattended.

Keep flames and heat sources away from curtains, bedding, paper, dried plants, textiles, and other flammable materials.

Place candles and candle accessories on stable, heat-resistant surfaces and maintain appropriate clearance from nearby objects.

Do not assume that a decorative tray, holder, or accessory is heat-resistant unless it is specifically described as suitable for that purpose.

05

Fragrance & Diffuser Products

When using fragrance products, reed diffusers, or related accessories, follow the instructions supplied with the product.

Keep fragrance liquids away from eyes, skin, food, and surfaces that may be affected by spills.

Place liquid fragrance products on stable surfaces and take care when filling, moving, or handling them.

Wipe up spills promptly using an appropriate method for the affected surface.

Do not ingest fragrance liquids or other substances that are not specifically intended for consumption.

06

Glass, Ceramic & Fragile Items

Glass, ceramic, and other fragile decorative products should be handled carefully to reduce the risk of breakage.

Avoid dropping, striking, or placing fragile products where they may easily fall.

Inspect fragile items periodically for cracks, chips, sharp edges, or other visible damage.

If an item becomes cracked, broken, or otherwise unsafe to handle, discontinue use and dispose of or handle the damaged pieces carefully.

07

Textiles & Soft Furnishings

Use blankets, throws, cushion covers, and other textile products according to their intended purpose and any care or safety information provided.

Keep textiles away from open flames, hot surfaces, and other sources of excessive heat unless specifically stated otherwise.

Before use, inspect products for loose components, damaged seams, or other conditions that may affect safe use.

Care and cleaning requirements may vary by material, so always refer to the applicable product information or care instructions.

08

Children & Pets

Some home décor and lifestyle products may contain small parts, fragile materials, cords, liquids, electrical components, or other features that may not be suitable for unsupervised use around children or pets.

Keep products that may present a choking, breakage, entanglement, burn, electrical, or ingestion hazard out of reach where appropriate.

Children should not use electrical, fragrance, candle-related, or fragile products without appropriate adult supervision.

Pet owners should also consider whether a product's placement, materials, fragrance, or components are suitable for their household.

09

Inspect Products Before Use

We recommend inspecting products before first use and periodically during continued use.

Do not continue using a product if you notice significant damage, loose or broken components, exposed electrical parts, unusual overheating, leakage, cracking, or another condition that may affect safe operation.

If you are uncertain whether a product is safe to continue using, discontinue use until the issue has been properly assessed.

10

Follow Product-Specific Instructions

Different products may require different handling, installation, operating, cleaning, storage, or safety precautions.
